Born in Dublin, I graduated from University College Dublin and later qualified as a Chartered Accountant. I spent six years working with international banks in the City of London and then returned to live and work in Dublin.

Square Mile was published in 1999, The Dealer in 2000, The Frontrunner in 2001 and The Headhunter in 2003; they were published by Hodder & Stoughton in London and by Muelenhoff in The Netherlands.

Later I was fortunate to be abandoned in Malaga Airport for ten hours, where I had an idea for a tale of epic human endurance on Europe's low fares airlines. Ruinair was published in Ireland by Gill & Macmillan in 2008 and was published in the UK by HarperCollins in 2009.

The Little Book of Mick was published in Ireland by Gill & Macmillan in 2008. It was published as 'Plane Speaking' in the UK by Aurum Press in 2010.

The sequel book to Ruinair, Ruinairski, a tale of low fares in Central & Eastern Europe, was published in Ireland by Gill & Macmillan in 2009.
