The Artxanda Funicular railway made its first trip in 1915 and it has been running ever since. Catch it at the rail station two streets away from the Zubi Zuri bridge. The ride on 'El Funi' takes three minutes to travel the 770 metres to the summit which is 225 metres high. The train runs from 7.15 am to 10pm daily, it departs every 15 minutes and a one way ticket is €1.30, or a CreditTrans card can be used.
