Catch the unfeasibly numbered 3247 public bus from outside the Arrivals terminal to the city centre. The bus leaves every 20 minutes and the trip takes 20 minutes. The journey is mostly along motorways but at the very end watch out for the exit from a long tunnel and for the first grand view of the city. The fare is a ridiclously small €1.30. If you have the time to spare, hop up to the Bilbao Turismo office on the right hand side of the Departures Hall and get a free city map and a copy of the excellent Bilbao Guide (check out the Calendar in the Guide for events during your visit).
